The Hunger Games - Australian Cover Art!

Everyone has been raving about The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins! I've had so many people tell me to read it, and I really want to! Published by Scholastic, it's finally out in Australia, with a totally different cover design.

I'm going to go and get myself a copy ASAP! :)

What do you think of the Australian cover art?

  1. It's the same as the UK one which has a fold out cover than you can change from Katniss to Peeta

  3. That's HOT! While I love the simplicity of the US cover, I have to admit I enjoy the UK and Aussie editions, and would totally collect them if I could get my hands on them. The artist who illustrated the cover, Jason Chan, also drew the cover of Lisa Mantchev's Eyes Like Stars. I love how some books are not using generic stock photographs for covers!

  4. I personally prefer the North American cover art, but that's mostly because I prefer simple cover designs.

  6. I don't really care for that cover either. Maybe if the girls face wasn't in the middle of it.

I have heard a lot about it I think may read that next.

  8. I loved all of Collins' books, and think she's a wonderful writer, but she's ratcheted it up to another level with this one. Even though it's the first in a trilogy, this one definitely stands alone, and I'm not sure how she can keep it up for another 2 books, but I suppose it's possible. Anyway, if you have time, take a visit at my Download Games website.

  9. I live in Australia, so unfortunately I have to put up with this cover, but I much prefer the American edition.
